The functions of the Council on Interdisciplinary Research and Grants (CIRG) are the following:
a. to coordinate interdisciplinary research and grant proposal-writing projects.
b. to coordinate the collaboration among the Center for Children and Families programs and
academic units in regard to student learning.
c. to coordinate the supervision of students across disciplines and academic units.
d. to coordinate facility and client allocations among the Center for Children and Families
programs and academic units.
e. to coordinate an interdisciplinary model of service teaching and research among the Center
for Children and Families programs and academic units.
f. to coordinate contribution from involved academic units to support the CCF service learning
programs annual budgetary needs involving materials, personnel, supervision, and
equipment.
